The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce has appointed four new members to the board of directors. They are Bill Wood, Theresa Catt, David Jones and Jeff Ritter. The additions come with the significant growth in chamber membership over the past year, by 100 to 450 members.

A new sign is up at Everett Mall, and it's actually visible from I-5. The old sign was smaller and obscured by trees. Those trees have been felled, and Clarity Signs of Kenmore is installing the new one.

The board of directors of Zumiez has approved a share-repurchase program of up to $20 million, the company said in a regulatory filing Tuesday.The Lynnwood-based retailer of sports apparel and gear said the program will end Feb. 1, 2014, unless the board decides to curtail the stock repurchase earlier.
