EVERETT — The latest count of election results in Tuesday’s special election continued the trend set by the initial results, with only incremental changes in the ongoing counts.

Everett Public Schools’ Proposition 1, a $89.6 million levy, was passing 65.1 percent to 34.9 percent. Proposition 2, a $149.7 million general obligation bond, was passing 62.2 percent to 37.8 percent.

The Marysville School District’s Proposition 1, a $230 million bond measure, had just 50.5 percent support. It requires a 60 percent supermajority in order to pass.

A total of 36,082 ballots have been counted, for an official turnout rate of 30.5 percent as of Thursday.

The next results release is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, May 5. The election results are set to be certified Friday, May 6.
