MONROE — Two youths reported missing from the Monroe area Saturday were located later that evening by the Edmonds Police Department and Community Transit workers.
The older youth, a 16-year-old Monroe boy, was placed in custody pending charges for violating a protection order. The 12-year-old Monroe girl was returned to her parents.
