Prep boys basketball: Cascade 68, Mariner 49

EVERETT — The Cascade boys basketball team improved to 20-1 this season and earned a spot in Thursday’s 4A District 1 Championship game next Thursday against Kamiak with a 68-49 win over Mariner on Saturday.

Senior Cameron McGrath led the way for the Bruins, finishing with 28 points, including seven 3-pointers.

Senior Kevin Villalobos led Mariner with 17 points and junior Swell Ewing chipped in 13.

Mariner will play Monroe Tuesday in a loser-out game.
