Man dies after Everett apartment fire

EVERETT — A man died after being taken to a hospital Friday afternoon when a fire was reported at the Marnice Apartments.

The fire was reported around 4 p.m. at the apartment complex at 1031 75th St. SE.

The man’s age was not immediately available.

He was found in a second-story apartment, Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson said.

Firefighters were still trying to put out hot spots at 5 p.m.

There was no visible fire damage from the outside of the complex.
