Downtown Bothell apartments sold for $63 million

BOTHELL — Real estate firm MainStreet Property Group announced the sale of a Six Oaks Apartments + Retail in downtown Bothell for $63 million.

The 203-unit apartments with a ground floor retail at 18333 Bothell Way NE, Bothell, opened in September 2014. MainStreet declined to name the buyer of the property, but a records search listed the buyer as Belkorp Holdings Inc., based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The apartment complex just south of the new McMenamins in Bothell has 9,000 square feet of retail space, which is currently fully leased.

Retail tenants include: BECU Neighborhood Bank, Social Grounds Coffee &Tea Co., Amaro Bistro, Insite Property Solutions and John L. Scott Bothell.

The Kirkland-based MainStreet Property also announced the groundbreaking of the Linq in downtown Kenmore, a 94-unit apartment building with approximately 20,000 square feet of retail. The company this month plans to open The Spencer 68, a 138-unit new project also in Kenmore.

Last month, CRP/Holland Creekside sold the 512-unit Taluswood Apartments at 4208 236th St. SW in Mountlake Terrace to Chicago-based real estate investment firm Waterton Associates. Those apartments sold for $80,465,000.

Six Oaks and Taluswood are about six and a half miles apart.
