Victims of the Marysville Pilchuck High School shootings

Victims of the Oct. 24, 2014, shootings at Marysville Pilchuck High School:

The sole survivor was Nate Hatch, then 14, who was shot in the jaw. Nate, of Tulalip, has played football and baseball and wrestled since he was small.

Shaylee “Shay” Chuckulnaskit, 14, was an outgoing and confident athlete, with a silly side, a deep faith and a fighter’s spirit.

Andrew Fryberg, 15, was a friendly and caring young man who was a natural athlete. He loved football, wrestling, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He and Nate were best friends.

Zoe Galasso, 14, was an artist who kept numerous sketchbooks. She loved her family and friends, along with animals, road trips and live music. She played every sport but especially loved soccer.

Gia Soriano, 14, was an aspiring veterinarian, described by her family as a sweet, soft-spoken girl with a radiant smile. Her favorite color was purple.
