Real estate agent joins RE/MAX in Edmonds

RE/MAX Direct Realty announced that realtor Jeffrey Miller has joined the real estate office in Edmonds. Originally licensed in Colorado, Miller will focus on residential single- and multi-family homes. He is involved in the Edmonds Rotary Club and the Lynnwood Arts Commission. Some of his favorite pastimes include golf and hiking in the Olympic and Cascade mountains.

EvCC to offer introduction to hospitality class

Everett Community College is offering a new introduction to hospitality class spring quarter for students considering careers in event planning, restaurant management or the hotel industry. The class, Business 230, is 12:20 to 2:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays March 28 until June 9. EvCC’s two-year hospitality business management degree directly transfers to Washington State University’s bachelor’s degree hospitality business program.

The current level of non-owner-occupied homes amounts to a little over half of the population in Everett.
