PITTSBURGH – American Eagle Outfitters has signed license agreements to put stores in South Korea, Singapore and Greece, a move that continues the teen clothing retailer’s international expansion.

Stores operated through the agreements with SK Networks Co. in South Korea, Trendz 360 in Singapore and Notos Com Holdings in Greece should start opening in mid-2015.

“Our partners bring vast knowledge in their respective markets, an expertise in building businesses and a strong passion for our brands,” said Simon Nankervis, executive vice president-global commercial operations.

Pittsburgh-based American Eagle will have stores in 28 countries with the new agreements.

The retailer is scheduled to release first-quarter earnings results on Wednesday.
