Providence CEO to serve at March for Babies chairman
Dr. Thomas Yetman, CEO of Providence Medical Group Northwest Region with Providence Health and Services, has taken on the role of March for Babies chairman to raise awareness and important funding to provide for babies who are born premature or with birth defects. Yetman encourages the community to show their support and sign up at www.marchforbabies.org.
Everett health clinic offers free grocery giveaway
Molina Healthcare of Washington plans to host a free grocery giveaway from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at its south Everett clinic, 15 SW Everett Mall Way. Molina employees will distribute the bags of food provided by World Vision. The first 150 families in attendance will each receive two bags of food while supplies last on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each bag will include items such as soup, oatmeal, rice and beans and mac and cheese. Free tours of the clinic will also be available.
Housing Hope to celebrate campaign’s halfway mark
A halfway mark celebration of Housing Hope’s Generations of Hope campaign is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo. This is not a fundraiser. It is a celebration of the completion of Phase I of the project. Appetizers and drinks are provided. RSVP to kelseytaylor@housinghope.org.

Snohomish County hotel occupancy down for second month
According to the Smith Travel Research report for February, Snohomish County was again down in occupancy. February saw a 3.5 percent decrease in occupancy but was up 3.2 percent in average daily rate and down just 0.5 percent in revenue per available room. Year-to-date, Snohomish County finished in fourth place in occupancy compared to other counties.
