At least one goat doesn’t like drones

EVERETT — Apparently, drone operators need to watch out for more than trees, power lines and smokestacks.

Add goats, dogs and remote-controlled model airplanes to the list.

While drones might be creating regulatory headaches for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), we can at least enjoy another silly video compilation of drone crashes. Thanks, YouTube!

As drones — or unmanned aerial systems, as they are called by the aerospace industry — proliferate, the skies are becoming increasingly crowded.

The Federal Aviation Administration is working on rules for commercial use of drones.

For now, recreational drone users have to follow the same rules as remote-controlled aircraft enthusiasts: no more than 400 feet above ground level and at least 3 miles away from airports.
