NBA Cares donates basketballs to YMCA of Snohomish County

The YMCA of Snohomish County has received 144 new basketballs, thanks to a donation from NBA Cares, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Spalding. The balls will be shared among the five YMCA of Snohomish County family branches and used for open gym, youth sports and camp programs. The Y has been a longtime national charity partner of NBA Cares because of the organizations’ shared commitment of encouraging individuals to live healthy lifestyles.

Financial adviser to host coffee club

Rich Carton, a local Edward Jones financial adviser, will host his coffee club at 9 a.m. Friday at his office located in the Highway 9 Business Center, 9623 32nd Street SE, Suite B-101, in Lake Stevens. The public is invited to this courtesy event that takes place on the third Friday of every month.
