For those who can’t plan ahead, here’s an app to help you find travel savings.
Last Minute Travel Deals’ website is www.lastminutetravel.com. It’s available for Android and iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The free app accesses worldwide flights from more than 175 carriers, 100,000 hotels, 20,000 vacation homes and about 10,000 activities. Last Minute Travel buys hotel rooms in bulk. It is not distressed inventory.
Coolest is the “Tonight and Tomorrow” hotel feature with rooms less than $60. You can sort the hotel deals by TripAdvisor rating, too.
Cheaper flights, however, were found on both Kayak and Expedia.
