I loved the music which had all the serenity and majesty of a forest trail. The score combined soaring and melodic tunes with music by Jeff Thomson and lyrics by Jordan Mann, and musical direction by R.J. Tancioco.
My favorite was the beautiful "Miles of Time," delivered flawlessly by Kirsten deLohr Helland.

Over the weekend, my family went with some friends – we both have 9 year old boys – to see The Kaddywompas Radio Show at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater. I had been to The Thumb before but never for a radio show performance.
When one takes kids to live theater shows, it's always a leap of faith. Will they be absorbed or will I regret the whole experience.

Not only is Village Theatre announcing its new 2013-2014 season, that includes "Les Miserables," the theater company is announcing a couple of other new changes as well to further accommodate audiences.
Performances will have earlier start times on Wednesdays and Thursdays; so instead of the curtain going up at 8 p.m. it will go up at 7:30 p.m. Also, Village is adding a 2 p.m. matinee option to Thursday for its subscription series.

I recommend seeing "Wild Dust" during its last weekend at the Phoenix Theatre and, like watching a good storm, you'll see a tempest of a story on stage.
I was a little surprised by the show because I went expecting a rip-roaring comedy but instead went away really enjoying the well-written characters and the involved plot that unfolded naturally and with lots of powerful revelations.
Sure there were funny parts,...

Seattle Opera's new production of Puccini's "La Boheme" features sepia-toned photographs of turn-of-the-century Paris.
Before the curtain rises on the famous quartet of the rough-living friends – including Rodolfo, the poet, and Marcello, the painter – the audience is invited to travel across the Atlantic and back in time through the lens of an old camera.
During Saturday's opening night, the use of...

I'm terrible at guessing the "who" in any whodunit – even with all the crime shows I watch. So having never seen the movie version of this show, I was...
