Construction begins on final building for Bothell’s Gateway Apartments

Groundbreaking was held on Monday for the fourth and final building for Gateway Apartments at 19121 112th Ave NE, Bothell.

When completed, the 233,085-square-foot building will consist of 147 units and two underground levels of parking structure. The construction will include panelized wood framing and cast-in-place concrete with post-tensioned concrete decks.

The Gig Harbor-based Rush Companies is the general contractor and Veer Architecture in Bellevue is the designer. Gateway Apartments Phase 1B is the owner and developer.

The design team is: Pace Engineers Inc.; Yu &Trochalakis; Emerald City Engineers Inc.; JRS Engineering; Associated Earth Sciences; and Zollner Landscape Archtecture LLC.

Key subcontractors are: Express Electric, Tristate Plumbing, Advanced Fire, Precision Concrete, Millframe Mosbrucker Excavating, DMI Drilling, Clearwater.

This project is estimated to be completed in December 2017.
