Coastal hires new VP serving south Everett, Eastside

Coastal Community Bank has hired Scott Becker as vice president, relationship manager serving South Everett, Kirkland and Bellevue. Becker, who will work out of 5415 Evergreen Way, Everett, worked most recently at Opus Bank in Kirkland.

Frontier to hire 90 at call center in Everett

Frontier Communications announced that it is hiring 90 full-time residential sales and customer service representatives for its Call Center in Everett. New employees will participate in a 90-day training program starting June 27. Skagit, Cascade hospitals to celebrate merger this week

Skagit Regional Health and Cascade Valley Hospital and Clinics are coming together as a unified, integrated health care system. Effective Wednesday, Skagit Regional Health will lease all facilities and take responsibility for operations of services and programs of Cascade Valley Hospital and Clinics. A celebration of the merger is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cascade Valley Hospital, Arlington.

EdCC holds open house on Project Management courses

Edmonds Community College’s Discover Project Management open house is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Woodway Hall 202, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood. It is free and open to the public. Project Management certification complements careers in accounting, business management, construction management, culinary arts, event planning, economics, engineering, and international business. Sno-Isle readers invited to take poll on services

Through June 12, Sno-Isle Libraries is asking its customers to take an online survey to share how they use and value various library services. The information that is gathered in the survey will help improve services such as public computers, wireless internet access, online resources and digital literacy training.
