Suspect arrested in Marysville drive-by shooting

MARYSVILLE — No one was hurt early Friday after a drive-by shooting in north Marysville.

Police quickly caught up with a suspect, a man believed to be in his late teens.

The man allegedly fired a rifle five times from a moving vehicle. The gunfire was reported just after 5:20 a.m. along 140th Place NE, Marysville police Cmdr. Jeff Goldman said.

The SWAT team served a search warrant about 9:30 a.m. at the man’s house along 129th Place NE, about a mile away.

He was expected to be booked for investigation of drive-by shooting, a felony.
