Friday’s prep basketball stars

The standout performers from Wednesday night’s high school basketball action:

BOYS

Josh Bevan, Marysville Pilchuck. The senior continued his hot streak with 29 points in the Tomahawks’ 71-49 victory over Oak Harbor.

Willy Enick, Tulalip Heritage. Enick scored a game-high 34 points in the Hawks’ 76-55 victory over Shoreline Christian.

Colby Kyle, Monroe. Kyle posted a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 69-58 loss to Mount Vernon.

GIRLS

Jordyn Edwards and Mikayla Pivec, Lynnwood. The two Royals seniors combined to score 36 points (19 for Pivec and 17 for Edwards) as Lynnwood defeated Glacier Peak 79-49 to clinch its sixth consecutive league title.

Madison Pollock, Snohomish. Pollock head a team-high 19 points to lead the Panthers to a 50-48 victory over Monroe and keep Snohomish undefeated in Wesco 4A play.

Chloe Brown, Highland Christian. Brown scored 28 points in a season-ending loss to Lummi.
