Lake Stevens woman who died after crash I.D.’d

ARLINGTON — The Washington State Patrol has released the name of the Lake Stevens woman who died after a car crash along Highway 9 near Arlington at around 5 p.m. Saturday.

Maureen Darrow, 80, died at Providence Regional Medical Center Colby Campus in Everett after being injured when Toyota Four-Runner crashed into the passenger side of the Buick Century she was riding in near 252nd Street.

The driver of the Buick, Norman Darrow, 82, was also taken to Colby with injuries.

Troopers said the Everett man who was driving the Four-Runner did not have his headlights on when he slammed into the Darrows. The 40-year-old was not injured.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating.
