3 taken to hospital after 2-car collision on Highway 92

LAKE STEVENS — A two-car crash Saturday off Highway 92 sent three people to the hospital with injuries.

The collision at the intersection of the highway and North Machias Road was reported shortly before noon.

Injured were a Snohomish woman, 60; an Arlington man, 43, and a Sequim man, 25. They were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

The Washington State Patrol reported that the pickup driven by the woman failed to yield the right of way off the county road and was struck on the driver’s side by the SUV, which was headed east on the highway.
