CHARLESTON, S.C. — Travelers can now fly non-stop from Charleston to the West Coast.
Local media outlets report that the Alaska Airlines on Monday began regular transcontinental service between Charleston and Seattle.
The flights are being offered four days a week and leave Seattle-Tacoma about 8:30 a.m. Pacific time and arrive in Charleston about 4:45 p.m. local time.
The return flight to Seattle takes off about an hour later.
Alaska Airlines serves more than 100 cities in North and Central America.
