National homebuilder starts Lake Stevens project

LAKE STEVENS — A national homebuilder that has developed several projects in the Puget Sound area is starting to market a new development in Lake Stevens.

The Atlanta, Georgia,-based Pulte Homes will open a new model home Thursday at what it’s calling Brookside By Pulte, the first of what is envisioned to be 52 homes at the development at 10240 25th Place SE.

Pulte Homes is also starting to market 12 Degrees North, which includes a mix of 114 town homes and single-family homes in Lake Forest Park.

“These new Pulte communities are located in great school districts with easy access to major employment hubs, retail and recreation,” said Andrea Murphy, vice president of sales for Pulte’s Pacific Northwest Divisionm, in a statement. “We are seeing great interest among family and move-up homebuyers who want new homes in the best locations.”

The Lake Stevens project includes eight floor plans ranging in size from 2,010- to 2,989-square feet. Prices for the homes will each cost more than $400,000.

Other Pulte developments that have opened this year include: Trovas between Snohomish and Bothell; Lake Vista in Sammamish; and Avery Pointe in Issaquah. Pulte Homes is building homes in 24 states mostly on the East Coast.
