EASC to hold After 4 Networking at Buffalo Wild Wings in Everett

Economic Alliance Snohomish County has launched a new event series called After 4 Networking, which offers attendees a chance for more meaningful engagement with other businesses and to open up to a variety of new connections. ChildStrive announces new board leadership

ChildStrive, formerly Little Red School House, has announced its new board leadership for 2015-2016. Board president is Jean Costanti-Oehler. Board vice president is Keith Harrell. Charlotte Beyer is the new board secretary and Guy Merriman is board treasurer. Other board members include Cheryl Beighle, Jim Croasdill, Amy Drewel, Alison Fatica, Harry Fay, Liz Stevenson, and Debbie Whitfield.

Indoor Swap Meet opens in Everett

A new business, Indoor Swap Meet &Auction House, has opened at 2201 Everett Ave., next to the QFC on Broadway in Everett. It features more than 20 different vendors offering thousands of new and pre-owned items. The Swap Meet is open every day but Monday. The first auction is scheduled for Nov. 7. It will be a silent auction followed by a live auction.

Wells Fargo employees teach financial literacy to elementary kids

More than 100 employees from Wells Fargo taught financial literacy through Junior Achievement programs to more 2,500 elementary students throughout the state of Washington on Oct. 13. Each year, more than 5,000 business professionals, parents, retirees and college students in Washington state help students in Junior Achievement programs develop the skills they need to succeed in a competitive economy.

RSVP for Bastyr University’s Founders’ Day Dinner

Bastyr University’s Founders’ Day Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at Columbia Winery in Woodinville. Each attendee will be asked to make a suggested minimum donation of $150, which may be made on the evening of the event or when you RSVP. Funds raised from the Founders’ Day Dinner will support the Bastyr University student scholarship fund.
