EVERETT — Personnel at Naval Station Everett are planning a security exercise Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
The exercise will simulate a shooter attack, and Navy security and medical personnel, in coordination with Everett police, will be taking part. The exercise will involve response by emergency vehicles, personnel in protective gear and simulated gunshots.
Visitors to the base should expect gate closures during the exercise.
