Missing teen found in Everett, but not her baby daughter

EVERETT — Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office have found a missing 16-year-old girl, but not her baby daughter.

Leah Marie Lund was located today around 2 p.m. Monday in the south Everett area, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

Detectives continue to look for the baby, Ireton said. The teen was believed to have given birth outside medical observation between Sept. 10 and Sept. 18. Her daughter is considered endangered due to the lack of medical care and concerns about her mother’s alleged heroin use.

Anyone with information the infant is asked to call 911 immediately.
