Prep football: Archbishop Murphy 66, Granite Falls 6

EVERETTT — A five-touchdown first quarter by Archbishop Murphy settled things early Friday night, as the Wildcats cruised to a Cascade Conference win over Granite Falls.

Quarrtback Connor Johnson had only three pass attempts but was perfect on all three for 61 yards and a touchdown to Bailey Singh Halpin in the opening quarter.

Kerry Jackson (16 yards) and Keonie Hoxie (25 yards) each returned an interception for a TD. Granite Falls had five turnovers on the night.
