Prep football: Snohomish 35, Cascade 28

EVERETT — Kobe McDaniel threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Josh Johnston with 1:22 left in the game and Snohomish hung on for a tightly-contested Wesco 4A win over Cascade.

It was the third TD of the night for McDaniel, who finished 17-for-27 for 320 yards. Johnston caught all three touchdowns and finished with five receptions for 93 yards.

Keegan Stich had six catches for 119 yards for the Panthers.

Cascade’s Devon Kleiner rushed for 159 yards and two TDs on 20 carries.
