Edmonds Community College will host a free Fall Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 14 in Woodway Hall 202 on the campus, 20000 68th Ave. W. Local employers with full-, part-time, and seasonal positions will be represented. Current students, alumni, and community members seeking jobs are invited. Bring resumes and be dressed to interview.

World Concern raises $367,000 at gala in Mukilteo

World Concern, a Seattle-based Christian humanitarian organization, raised $367,000 at its 60th anniversary celebration on Sept. 26 at the Future of Flight Aviation Center in Mukilteo. More than 400 supporters and guests attended the event. A part of CHRISTA Ministries, World Concern serves the world’s poor through disaster response and sustainable community development programs.

Public Officials’ Reception planned in Everett

Join leaders from every business sector in the Snohomish County region to network and make connections at Economic Alliance Snohomish County’s annual Public Officials’ Reception. New child care business opens in Marysville
