Elvis tribute show in Everett raises $2,900 for charity

Nearly 200 people attended Tracy Alan Moore’s Elvis tribute show at the Historic Everett Theatre on Aug. 15. After expenses, the show generated nearly $2,900 for Guide Dogs of America. Moore is a member of Machinists Union Local Lodge 751-A, affiliated with Machinists Union District Lodge 751. Over six years, the union has raised more than $1.8 million for that charity.

Canlis Restaurant owner to speak at event benefiting homeless children

Vision House is holding a breakfast event from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m. Oct. 22 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. The event is to raise support for homeless families in the greater Puget Sound area. Lake Stevens interior designer releases book

Kelly DuByne, owner of Lake Stevens-based Distinctive Interior Designs, announced the completion of the portfolio book commemorating the 20th anniversary of her business.
