ARLINGTON — Police say they’ve caught up with three teens accused of a tire slashing spree in Arlington this past weekend.
The boys are all 17, of Arlington, city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said Thursday. They all face charges for misdemeanor malicious mischief.
Police believe six people were part of the group that went out that night. The three boys facing charges “did the slashing,” Banfield said. “The other three did not participate.” At least 10 cars were hit in the spree.
Earlier this week, Arlington police issued surveillance photos of suspects, asking for tips.
“A huge thank you to all of you who got the word out for us,” Banfield said. “It was tips that we received from our local community that solved these cases.”
