GRANITE FALLS — A man died Monday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on the Mountain Loop Highway east of Granite Falls.
The crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. Monday in the 19400 block of the highway, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The sheriff’s office Collision Investigation Unit will try to reconstruct the accident that killed the 39-year-old man. The road was closed until about 6 p.m.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has been asked to determine the cause and manner of death as well as confirm the man’s identity.
