Workforce Snohomish receives nearly $500,000 grant

Workforce Snohomish announced that it has received a $476,776 grant from the Federal Transit Administration’s Innovative Public Transportation Workforce Development program for the Puget Sound Region Ladders of Opportunity Initiative. The initiative brings together eight regional organizations in Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties to develop comprehensive career training, including mechanical and technical skills, and resume building for targeted outreach groups.

Marysville Tulalip chamber hosts Business After Hours event

The Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce will host a Business After Hours event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at The Living Room Coffee House, 1212 State Ave., Suite D, Marysville. Apply for tourism grants in Edmonds

The City of Edmonds Arts Commission is accepting applications from local arts and culture nonprofit organizations for a second round of the 2016 Tourism Promotion Awards program for programs or events scheduled for next year.
