Landau in Edmonds hires new senior engineer
Edmonds-based Landau Associates, a geotechnical and environmental engineering, remediation, permitting, and compliance firm, has hired Katie Saltanovitz as a senior engineer. Saltanovitz has 11 years of experience in permitting, planning, design, and construction support for stormwater and solid waste facilities. She is assisting the Environmental Permitting and Compliance group with engineering design and project management for stormwater and solid waste clients.
New manager named for Lynnwood’s Guild Mortgage
Oleg Tkach has been named manager of the Lynnwood branch of San Diego-based Guild Mortgage. The branch is located at 3400 188th St. SW, Suite 400, Lynnwood. Tkach has been with Guild for two years. Prior to his promotion as branch manager, he served as production manager and senior loan officer to a team of six mortgage professionals at Guild.
Experience Momentum employees volunteer in Dominican Republic
Experience Momentum, a local wellness company that offers a holistic, integrated approach to wellness through nutrition, fitness, massage and physical therapy services in Lynnwood, has been supporting non-profit organizations 1% For The Planet and Plant For Purpose. In March 2015, thirteen Experience Momentum employees traveled to a small village in the Dominican Republic to help plant deforested areas.
Mud Bay employees given company stock
Mud Bay pet retail company co-CEOs Lars and Marisa Wulff announced a new Employee Stock Ownership Plan at the company’s annual employee Mudstock training event Aug. 20. As a result, 324 employees of Mud Bay are now own portions of the company. Mud Bay currently operates 33 stores in Washington and Oregon. More stores are scheduled to open this year.
