1 of 3 suspects arrested after Mukilteo store robbery

MUKILTEO — Police in Mukilteo are investigating a convenience store robbery that occurred early Friday morning.

The robbery occurred around 5:45 a.m. at a business in the 3800 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard SW, Mukilteo police officer Colt Davis said.

An employee at the business reported that three young suspects entered the store with their faces obscured by bandanas. Two were reportedly armed with pistols.

One of the men struck the employee and demanded that he open the cash register. The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, Davis said.

The suspects left westbound on Harbour Pointe Boulevard Southwest in a silver sedan, possibly an early 2000s Chrysler 200. They were described as being between about 5 foot 8 and 6 feet tall.

Everett Police Department arrested one of the robbery suspects Sunday in an unrelated case. He was booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center in Everett.

Another suspect has been identified.

“Detectives are continuing to follow up on leads,” Davis said.
