Great Clips seeking stories of busy people

Great Clips salon has launched a Back-To-School More Minutes campaign. From July through September, Great Clips will randomly surprise customers with small gifts to help in their busy lives. Customers should post a selfie of their Great Clips haircut on the company’s Instagram, Facebook or Twitter pages and say what they would do with more time using #MoreMinutes.

Umpqua offers new loan certification program

Northwest-headquartered Umpqua Bank has launched a new loan certification program to provide homebuyers with more accurate and verified information. Purchase Advantage analyzes factors such as income, credit and assets up front, during the loan approval process, giving homebuyers a verified, accurate price range quicker than pre-approval and streamlining the loan closing process.

Terrace asks for feedback on its website design

The City of Mountlake Terrace invites residents, business owners, visitors and others from the community to help guide development of its website redesign by taking a brief online survey found on the homepage at www.cityofmlt.com. The city would like to know how the community currently uses the website and what they would like to see in the future.

Businesses in Snohomish County can apply for drought aid

Small, nonfarm businesses in 35 Washington counties, including Snohomish County, are now eligible to apply for low interest federal disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by the drought that began July 28, 2015. Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
