Communications director hired at WSU in Everett

Randy Bolerjack has joined Washington State University North Puget Sound at Everett as the director of communications and public relations, a newly created position. Bolerjack spent five years as a public affairs and government relations consultant in Edmonds and Seattle. He most recently directed communications and public relations for the Mercer Island School District, winning statewide recognition for his work.

Coastal Community Bank reports record growth

Coastal Financial Corp., the holding company for Everett-based Coastal Community Bank, announced record growth in their second quarter of 2015 earnings. Net income increased 46 percent to $873,000 compared to $596,000 for the same period last year. Total assets grew an annualized 16 percent and net loans are also up 16 percent year over year to $461.2 million.
