Everett teen shot, condition unknown

EVERETT — An 18-year-old Everett man is being treated at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center for life-threatening injuries following an early morning shooting on Sunday.

The incident occurred about 1:40 a.m. in the 100 block of 75th Street SW, said Lt. Robert Goetz with the Everett Police Department.

The young man’s injuries were potentially life-threatening, he said. There was no update available on his condition Sunday afternoon.

“We don’t have a motive or reason for the shooting,” Goetz said. Police don’t yet have any information on a suspect, he said.

Several nearby houses were hit with bullets, but no one else was injured.

Police officers searching the area arrested two people on warrants not associated with the shooting, Goetz said.
