Rock the Boat: The bands Mudhoney, Fauna Shade and Duke Evers will play for this small festival, sponsored by the Everett Music Initiative and Scuttlebutt Brewing, beginning at 5 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Port of Everett.

Summer Meltdown Festival: Aug. 6 through 9, at Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheater (AKA Darrington’s bluegrass park).
