MONROE — A Monroe woman, 41, was carjacked at knifepoint on Monday afternoon, and police are looking for the suspects.
The woman had arrived at her home along Dickinson Street around noon to find two men in her garage, according to police. The men ordered her at knifepoint to drive them to Lake Stevens. During the drive, they stole her money and credit cards.
One suspect was white, about 6-foot-3 with a thin build, dark short hair and a beard and mustache. He wore a brown hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans. The second suspect was white, but shorter and with a heavier build. He wore Dickies-style brown pants and a gray sweatshirt.
The suspects may be associated with a red Dodge Neon seen in the Lake Stevens area. Detectives on Tuesday were working to gather surveillance video footage potentially showing parts of the incident, spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
