The Everett Merchants picked up two wins in a doubleheader against the Snoqualmie Valley Hurricanes at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday by the scores of 5-2 and 3-2.
In the first game, Pat Siler pitched a complete game and struck out four while surrendering just two runs off five hits. Outfielder Ryan Sells led the Merchants at the plate going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI single. The second game of the twin bill saw Chase Heslep pick up the win following seven innings of one-run ball. The righty struck out three and walked only one.
Sells came up big for the Merchants again collecting three hits, including a two-run homer, and four RBI. Outfielder Ty Holm went 2-for-3 with two RBI on the night.
