Builders make ramps for people in need

Several contractors and other businesses participated in the annual Rampathon last Saturday by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish County.

Here are projects that were built around the county:

• Master Builders Association, Arlington Hardware &Lumber and volunteers built free ramps that will give both 83-year-old Rosemarie Crabtree and 66-year-old Jeanette Bose more mobility at their homes in Arlington.

• Master Builders Association, Westhill Inc., Chermak Construction, Builders Capital and volunteers built a free ramp for Cathy’s Cuddlers, a 24-hour integrated special needs childcare in Bothell serving children from birth to age 21 and beyond. They also provided ramps for 80-year-old Marjorie Cirillo and 79-year-old Patricia Moody in Bothell.

• Master Builders Association, Home Run Solutions, Gamut360 and volunteers built free ramps for 10-year-old Morgan Wirth and 56-year-old Gene Simms at their homes in Everett.

• Master Builders Association, Professional Women in Building and volunteers built a free ramp that will give 88-year-old Elsie Brons more mobility at her home in Lynnwood.
