Providence nominated for most beautiful hospital in U.S.
Providence Regional Medical Center Everett has been nominated in The Soliant Health Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. for 2015. The public may vote as often as they wish. Votes are being accepted through June 8 on the Soliant health website here. The winners will be announced June 15.
Everett insurance agent to donate supplies to elementary
Farmers Insurance agent and business owner Peter Sexton, whose office is in Everett, plans to donate $2,500 in school supplies to Madison Elementary School on May 27. The supplies are going to be delivered in the official Thank America’s Teachers yellow school bus. Sexton served as a teacher in the Lake Stevens School District for 28 years.

State: Naturopath worked without credential
State health officials have ordered Whidbey Naturals Alternative Medicine’s Arely Jimenez to cease and desist the practice of naturopathy pending further legal action. Jimenez has never held a credential to practice as a naturopath in the state of Washington although the company’s website has advertised that Jimenez was “Board Certified in Naturopathy.”
