EDMONDS — Police in Edmonds are looking for help identifying a bank robbery suspect.
A man held up the Banner Bank, 7000 block of 212th Street SW, on Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect walked into the bank and gave the teller a note implying he had a weapon. He demanded cash, Edmonds police Sgt. Shane Hawley said.
The teller gave the suspect roughly $1,700. He was not seen getting into a vehicle, Hawley said.
The suspect is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old. He’s around 5-foot- 10 and weighs roughly 210 pounds. He had short brown hair and a long beard but no mustache.
The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a grey zippered sweatshirt as well as a light-colored baseball cap.
Detectives are trying to determine if he is the same man who robbed the Union Bank in Mill Creek on April 1.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Edmonds Police Department.
