Windermere to host free recycling event in Lynnwood

Windermere Real Estate North is teaming up with Friendly Earth and Confidential Data Disposal to help their neighbors by hosting a free recycling event between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Windermere North office, 4211 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Lynnwood. Electronics for e-cycling and sensitive tax-season data for shredding will be accepted. Sight Connection, will be also be on hand to collect clothing, linens and shoes.

PLC Insurance to host workshop on how to prevent cybercrime

PLC Insurance announced that it will host a session on the danger of cybercrime to small businesses. This is in partnership with the Economic Alliance Snohomish County and Liberty Mutual Insurance. The session’s speaker is Tim Wallach, a FBI supervisory special agent on the Cyber Task Force. Registration for the event starts at 3:30 p.m. April 30 at The Future of Flight Aviation Center located at 8415 Paine Field Blvd. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP directly to Jim Stephenson at jims@economicalliancesc.org.

Workshop aims to show people how to reduce stress

The Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce has partnered with psychotherapist and author Sarri Gilman for a May 8 workshop based on Gilman’s book, “Transform Your Boundaries.” The workshop will help people learn how to set work boundaries, de-stress and thrive.
