SEATTLE — An international group that lost its latest court battle to block Seattle’s new minimum wage law said it will keep on fighting.

The International Franchise Association and five Seattle franchises filed a lawsuit against Seattle in June 2014 to block part of the city’s new law to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

A federal judge on Tuesday rejected their claims that the law discriminates against franchises and denied their request to stop the law from going into effect.

The International Franchise Association, which represents national chains ranging from fast food joints to hotels. The group says it will continue to seek a permanent injunction to stop portions of the law that apply to small business franchises.
