UPDATE: The victim, a Snohomish man, 22, was reported in stable condition at an area hospital. As of noon Monday, detectives did not yet have a good description of the suspect to release, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
SNOHOMISH — Detectives were investigating a shooting Sunday night in Snohomish.
The incident was reported at 7:27 p.m. along Lincoln Avenue, near First Street, Snohomish County sheriff’s Lt. Scott Parker said.
Investigators were told the homeowner was shot after interrupting a burglary, Parker said. The victim was taken to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries wasn’t disclosed.
As of 8:30 p.m., the search for a suspect continued. No other information was immediately available.
