EVERETT — A 94-year-old Seattle man who died in a crash in Everett on Friday has been identified as Winfield R. Scott.
Scott suffered a medical problem and that caused the crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
It happened just after 3 p.m. Friday on northbound I-5 near the interchange with U.S. 2.
Scott’s wife was hospitalized. No other serious injuries were reported.
The traffic backup stalled the Friday commute well into the evening.
