One’s mind usually turns to wine when thinking of Snohomish.
Except for this weekend.
Twenty local breweries and one cidery will bring their best brews to the fourth annual Snohomish Brewfest on Oct. 24 and 25 at Snohomish Event Center (1011 2nd St., Snohomish).
Featured breweries include: American Brewing Company, 7 Seas Brewing, Bale Breaker Brewing Company, Big E Ales, Der Blokken Brewery, Diamond Knot Craft Brewing, Elysian Brewing Company, Fish Brewing Company, Georgetown Brewing Company, Green Flash Brewing Company, Hilliard’s Beer, Iron Horse Brewery, Island Hopping Brewery, Mt Pilchuck Brewery, New Belgium Brewing, Ninkasi Brewing, Schilling Cider, Scuttlebutt Brewing Company, Snotown Brewing Company, and Whiskey Ridge Brewing.
In addition to the brew tastings, tickets include a voucher for a sausage dinner. There will also be antiques and artwork on display.
The event is a fundraiser benefiting the Snohomish Senior Center. There will be three sessions Oct. 24 6-10 p.m. and Oct. 25 noon-4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Tickets for all three sessions are $50 and and include commemorative glass, 10 taste tokens and two $5 food coupons.
