Prep girls soccer: Jackson 4, Monroe 0

EVERETT — Jackson advanced to the District 1 4A championship match with a shutout win over Monroe.

Madison Cooley had two goals and fellow senior Drew Locknane had two assists and also scored a goal.

“Drew had a great game and Madison also helped make it happen as a senior leader,” Timberwolves coach Jesslyn Kellerman said. Jackson faces Kamiak in a rematch of last year’s championship match at Goddard Stadium on Thursday.

“We’ve split with Kamiak this year so it will be a good battle with two teams that know each other well,” Kellerman said.
