Massage business to hold benefit for Arthritis Foundation

Massage Envy Spa and the Arthritis Foundation will hold the fourth annual Healing Hands for Arthritis event on Sept. 17. In addition to donating part of the proceeds from that day’s services to the Arthritis Foundation, the Northgate, Shoreline, Everett, and Bellingham Massage Envy locations will offer those currently living with arthritis a free one-hour massage session.

Financial adviser hosts coffee club

The public is invited to join in an informal discussion of current events and the economy at a free Coffee Club meeting at 9 a.m. Sept. 19 at the Edward Jones office in the Highway 9 Business Center, 9623 32nd St. SE No. B101, Lake Stevens. The host is financial adviser Rich Carton. Coffee and doughnuts are provided.

TV personality to emcee charity event

KING 5 TV’s Jesse Jones, will once again emcee Brunch by the Bay, a community event for Providence Hospice and Home Care Foundation of Snohomish County. The event that is now in its 24th year begins at 11 a.m. Sept. 28 at Anthony’s Woodfire Grill in Everett.
